Top Level Domains (TLDs) Transfer Policy

There are two types of transfers of "Top Level Domains (TLDs; .com/.net/.org/.info/.biz etc.):

  1. Internal Transfer (Ownership/Record Change from One Person to Another)
  1. External Transfer (Change of Services from Existing Service Provider & Registrar)

 

Internal Transfer (Ownership/Record Change from One Person to Another):

Requirements & Procedure:

  • Both (existing and new) registrant/owner must have their separate billing profiles in our WHMCS
  • If new registrant/owner does not have any billing profile with us then new profile will be created first in our WHMCS and there will be a onetime setup cost of $10.00USD for this
  • Existing registrant/owner will confirm the transfer of domain(s) and provide us required details from his registered email ID for creation of new profile
  • Upon successful transfer and record update, both (existing and new) registrant/owner will receive an email from main authority for verification of record and transfer
  • Both (existing and new) registrant/owner will have to approve the link provided in verification email within sixty (60) days of transfer process, otherwise transfer process will be cancelled without any changes in record
  • In case, existing registered email ID is not accessible, then below-mentioned
    documentation ( hard copy) will be required
    for any kind of record change:
    a) Photocopy of valid CNIC or Driving License or Passport
    b) Company proof, e.g. Incorporation certificate or any government authorized certificate
        or Affidavit in case of personal/individual domain (format attached below)
    c) Contact modification form (attached below) duly filled and manually signed by “Current Owner”

 

External Transfer (Change of Services from Existing Service Provider & Registrar):

Requirements & Procedure:

  • Domain must not be in the phase of first sixty (60) days after initial registration
  • Remove all kind of restrictions from domain (including theft protection) enabled by service provider/registrar/regulatory authorities
  • Domain status must be unlocked
  • Authorization/EPP code will be required to recipient organization for transfer process initiation
  • Such transfers take 5-10 working days for accomplishment
  • Domain public/whois record must be updated specially email ID because transfer request will be verified by registrar through email
  • In case, existing registered email ID is not accessible, then below-mentioned documentation (hard copy) will be required
    for any kind of record change:
    a) Photocopy of valid CNIC or Driving License or Passport
    b) Company proof, e.g. Incorporation certificate or any government authorized certificate
        or Affidavit in case of personal/individual domain (format attached below)
    c) Contact modification form (attached below) duly filled and manually signed by “Current Owner”
